Compensation Disclosure

As a client or prospective client, you have not only the right to ask, but are encouraged to ask, at any time, for information about the compensation to Button Financial related to the services provided. The disclosure:

  1. May be expressed as an approximate dollar amount or percentage or as a range of dollar amounts or percentages;
  2. Shall be made at a time and to the extent that it can be reasonably ascertained;
  3. Will be based on reasonable assumptions, with estimates clearly identified and;
  4. Will be updated in a timely manner if actual compensation significantly differs from any estimates.

Sources of Compensation

  1. A fixed fee for the Initial Financial Planning Review
  2. Hourly fees for advice
  3. Annual Retainer Fees (a percentage of assets under management for Investment Management and Financial Planning is being phased out as a method of compensation beginning with those after January of 2004)
  4. Transaction fees (percent of assets to be positioned) for Investment Brokerage
